So, we’re nearly there. Christmas is upon us and time to hopefully sit down, relax and have some much-needed fun with friends & family. As a club we’ve achieved so much this year. The highlight for me was opening our new state-of-the-art FIFA approved 3G pitch, providing all teams with the opportunity to play on one of the best surfaces in the country. And, for parents & spectators we’ve also worked in partnership with Dinnington Resource Centre to enhance the facilities available during all matches & training sessions. I really hope this has improved your own experience of coming down to Dinnington Town, and of course if you have any suggestions for further improvements then please let me know. None of this magically happens though. We have a great bunch of volunteers who give up their time to help run the club. You obviously see your respective team coaches at training during the week, and then on match days, but in addition to coaches we have other parents & volunteers giving up their valuable time to help run the food & drink facilities in the Resource Centre during training sessions & match days. I want to say a big thank you to all our volunteers. We couldn’t do this without you, and I’ll also take this opportunity to say we can never have enough people helping. So, even if you can spare just an hour a week, please talk to your respective team coach about how you can get involved with the club. Just after Christmas, on the 27th December, we have our last fundraising event of the year. If you’re free we’d love to see you down the club from 10:30am to watch the Dinnington Coaches take on Dinnington Town Select XI in a 90 minute charity match. The match kicks off at 12pm, with food & drink available throughout the day. Finally, I just want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from me, and everybody connected to Dinnington Town Football Club. Thanks Andy Marshall Proud to be Chair of Dinnington Town Football Club #UpTheDinno
