Dinnington Town continued their unbeaten run in the league with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Worksop Town Reserves, securing their fourth win in as many matches.
This result further cements their early dominance in the campaign, despite facing a demanding schedule with their second away fixture in the space of a week.
The match got off to an intense start, with Dinnington Town looking to impose themselves early on. Their efforts were rewarded just ten minutes into the game when Jack Appleyard, making his debut for the club, found the back of the net.
However, Worksop Town Reserves, determined to make life difficult for the visitors, responded with resilience. They gradually grew into the game and managed to draw level.
