A bad day at the office saw Dinnington Town slip to their 2nd successive league defeat. Staveley Miners Welfare started the better with Kieran Best called into action straight away saving well to prevent a goal in the opening minute. The hosts fired a number of warning shots before taking the lead in the 35 minute. 10 minutes of madness ensued and Dinnington went into the break 3-0 down. The game didn't get much better in the 2nd half, with Dinnington Town ending up losing the match 4-0. Dinnington Town remain 3rd in the league on 27th points having won 8, drawn 3 and lost 5 of their 16 league games.
