Dinnington Town travelled to league champions Retford United and came away with a well earned draw.
An evenly contested first half saw both teams have chances but nobody could find the breakthrough and the half ended as it started.
In the second half, Retford United were awarded a 54th minute penalty for a handball in the area. Mark West put the spot kick straight down the middle to give the hosts the lead.
On 68 minutes Sam Foulds equalised for Dinnington Town. Each side pressed for the win and with almost the last action of the game Dinnington Town should have won it as Gordon-Hides sprung the offside trap but put his 1 on 1 with the keeper just wide of the post.
And with that the game finished 1-1 and Dinnington Town left with a well earned and deserved point. This was only the 3rd time in 27 matches Retford United haven't taken maximum points in the league this season too.
Dinnington Town are next in action on Tuesday away to SJR Worksop, kick off is 6:45pm.
