In a highly anticipated clash at Armthorpe Welfare's ground, Doncaster City and Dinnington Town, both with perfect league records, went head-to-head in a thrilling encounter that lived up to its billing.
With both sides eager to preserve their unbeaten runs, the match was as tightly contested as expected, delivering drama until the very last minute.

A long throw into the box created chaos in the Doncaster City defense. Will Eades challenged the goalkeeper, causing the ball to fall to Ash Cooper, who coolly lobbed it back into the danger area. However, Dinnington Town had one last twist in store. Deep into stoppage time, in the 94th minute, Danny Booth split the Doncaster City defense with a precise through ball. Brad Kerr, the former Doncaster City frontman, raced onto it and unleashed a shot across the goal. The keeper managed to get a hand to it, but the ball nestled into the bottom corner, sparking wild celebrations both on the pitch and in the stands.
The final whistle confirmed a 2-3 victory for Dinnington Town, extending their remarkable winning streak to nine games. It was a match that will live long in the memory, showcasing the resilience and quality of a Dinnington Town side that refuses to be beaten.
