Dinnington Town eased into the next round of the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup with a seven nil home win against Clipstone Reserves. Arron Moxam opened the scoring for Dinnington and quickly followed this up with his second of the night, his second brace in 4 days. Dinnington were relentless under the lights with Gracjan Klimczak adding a third. Dinnington thought they had a 4th before half time, but the referees whistle blew before the ball crossed the line and the half ended 3-0. After the break Dinnington continued where they had left off with Gracjan Klimczak completing his hat trick before grabbing his 4th of the night. The lead allowed manager Gary Eades to make a number of subs with Josh Denton making his debut for Dinnington Town. Josh had just turned 18 and been with the club since he was 6 years old, starting out in the nursery team. In total seven players last night on the pitch were 18 or under as Eades rotated his squad giving the youngsters a chance Just before the end, Michael Golland added a 7th before the referee blew time with Dinnington progressing to the next round of the cup with a 7-0 home win.
