In another exhilarating display, mirroring the efforts of last week, Dinnington Town set Phoenix Park alight again, storming to a 6-0 victory and moving up to 4th in the league.
The echoes of last week's conquest still fresh, Dinnington Town gave the 103 faithful watching another spectacle, crafted largely by the magic of one man: Jordan Turner.
With rain in the air, a dusky afternoon under the lights and a fast Phoenix Park pitch, the stage was set.
It took just 4 minutes for the in-form Jordan Turner to announce his intentions, opening the scoring for Dinnington early on.
This electric atmosphere was further charged just two minutes later, with Robert Singer harnessing the momentum and doubling the lead.
As the half-time whistle blew with Dinnington Town comfortably ahead at 2-0, whispers of another riotous display were in the air. The spectators, warmed by their team's dynamic first half, waited with bated breath for the next instalment.
And they weren't disappointed. The second half began with some end-to-end action, but it was around the hour mark that Jordan Turner decided to effectively end the game as a contest. In the 62nd minute, he grabbed his brace for the afternoon. Before the opposition could even process what had happened, Turner was at it again just a minute later, completing his hat-trick.
Dinnington Town, not content with a four-goal lead and with Turner's magic still in the air, pressed on.
In the 75th minute, Sam Morley, inspired by Turner's exploits, added his name to the scoresheet, making it 5-0. The relentless onslaught continued, and just three minutes later, Justin Circuit, not wanting to be left out of the party, found the net to make it 6-0.
As the referee brought proceedings to a close, Dinnington Town had not only recorded a second consecutive clean sheet and scored 11 goals in doing so but they also had moved up to 4th in the Black Dragon Premier Division North.
Dinnington Town are next in action on Saturday, 28th October, against AFC Bentley in The Sheffield and Hallamshire FA County Cup. Kick-off is at 3:00 pm.
