Dinnington Town extended their unbeaten run in the league to five matches with a well-earned victory over Hatfield Town, maintaining their position at the top of the table.


The home side showcased their dominance throughout the match, though they were made to work hard for the three points by an inspired performance from Hatfield Town’s goalkeeper, Ellis Pattison.


The breakthrough came in the 29th minute when Brad Kerr, making his debut after joining from Doncaster City, opened the scoring for Dinnington Town. Kerr's goal, a confident finish, gave the home side a deserved lead after a sustained period of pressure.


Despite their dominance, Dinnington Town struggled to extend their advantage in the first half, largely due to the heroics of Pattison, who repeatedly thwarted their attempts on goal.

The quick reply stunned Dinnington Town, briefly shifting the momentum.


Despite the setback, Dinnington Town remained composed and continued to press forward in search of a third goal to seal the win.


The remainder of the match was marked by relentless attacking from Dinnington Town, but they found themselves repeatedly denied by Pattison, who delivered a man-of-the-match performance.


The Hatfield Town goalkeeper pulled off four outstanding saves at close range, frustrating the home side's efforts to put the game beyond doubt.


Despite missing a series of chances, Dinnington Town's persistence ensured that they saw out the match and secured all three points.


This victory, their fifth consecutive in the league, reinforces Dinnington Town's strong start to the season.
