Dinnington Town suffered their second defeat in 3 days, this time losing to second placed Dearne & District in the league. The hosts opened the scoring on 15 minutes through Enzo Guarini, with a left footed shot from 20 yards. And despite chances for both sides the first half ended 1-0 to the hosts. In the second half Dinnington Town had an equaliser ruled out for offside, and almost immediately Dearne & District made it 2-0 through Nicholas Guest. Shortly after Dinnington Town were reduced to 10 men, as a late tackle resulted in a second yellow. With the game effectively over as a contest Dearne & District made it 3-0 with about 8 minutes left to play through Reeves Boocock. All in all a bad day at the office with two sin bins, a sending off and three goals conceded. Dinnington Town are next in action this Saturday away to Clipstone in the cup. Kick off is 2pm.
